Tour de Suisse

Like the Dauphiné Libéré, the Tour de Suisse is notorious for featuring the main Tour de France contenders making their final preparations ahead of contesting the biggest prize in cycling. The Tour de Suisse finishes a week later than the Dauphiné Libéré, meaning some of those riders targeting the Tour de France will have to be careful to conserve their efforts.

Despite this race being considered as a race of preparation for some, it is none the less a highly significant, and prestigious race on the Pro Tour calendar, attracting a high calibre of rider with its nine exciting, hotly-contested stages.
