The 2009 edition of Liege-Bastogne-Liege will round off a great week of the Ardennes classics, taking the riders south to Bastogne and back up to finish in Ans after a distance of 261 kilometers. In the final kilometers the route will approach the Côte de Saint-Nicolas, a 1k climb that hits 11.1 percent making for a tough latter section before the riders tackle the rise to the finish line on the Rue Jean Jaures making the likelihood of a bunch sprint slim to none. Stay tuned for an un-missable finale.

Like the other two Ardennes Classics, this suits a punchy climber with a fast finish. Some of the riders who've been in contention for the past week should be once again up there looking for a spot on the podium. For team and rider information click [here].
