Paris-Roubaix

The world renowned Paris-Roubaix will take place on Sunday April 12, just one week after The Tour of Flanders, making for a spectacular week of spring racing. This is the point on the calendar which riders and fans alike eagarly anticipate each year, as when it comes to Roubaix there really is nothing like it for atmosphere, supporters and race action.

Sitting as one of the five 'monuments' on the professional calendar Paris-Roubaix throws in a serious amount of traditional Belgian cobblestones making it notorious for its tough terrain.

Tom Boonen has had plenty of practice on the cobbles and took the 2008 win in a display of his sprint prowess. Can he take victory again this year? Tune into Cycling TV to find out.
