2012 E3 Prijs Harelbeke start list

Ones to watch

Fabian Cancellara
FABIAN CANCELLARA
Will he ever win again, or will he spend the rest of his career dragging eventual winners to the finish line? Johan Bruyneel thinks there should be a Strongest Rider award, to celebrate the bloke who loses despite his talent. Will the Swiss motorbike win, or just be the strongest man?
Philippe Gilbert
PHILIPPE GILBERT
Lord Phil of Gil takes number 11 at the start, assuming the lead of BMC. He hasn't been too happy with the support he's had from his team so far, and should expect better backup in a race he is more than capable of winning. Will he be anywhere near his 2011 self?
Heinrich Haussler
HEINRICH HAUSSLER
It was Haussler's Garmin-Barracuda team mate Sep Vanmarcke who took the highest place finish here for the US team last year, but Haussler leads the team again this year. He's got tons of talent and won the "best of the rest" sprint in 2011. Do it for Gerstralia!
Peter Sagan
PETER SAGAN
We love him! He's really really good and wins things and sometimes does things that piss off Vincenzo Nibali, which is quite funny. Liquigas care more about Italy, but who'd bet against Sagan if he found himself in a winning position? Not us, because we're his BFFs.
