NICK NUYENS
He won it last year! But probably even he's forgotten that fact in the wake of his Tour of Flanders victory. Saxo Bank have all sorts of problems right now, and will be looking for victories wherever they can get them this season.
GERAINT THOMAS
A more-surprising-than-it-should-have-been second place for the Cymric superstar puts him on our list today. He'll probably have bigger goals for this season, but it'll be a surprise if we don't at least see his team mates trying to win here. Also, he looks like a lovely bird.
TYLER FARRAR
He's from Washington, so he likes the rain. He lives in Belgium, so this is a home race. He's got a fast sprint, so so so &c. What do you think? With his skillset, Tyler's got to be equipped for one of these types of races this year, right?
A BELGIAN
One from Flanders, most likely. I mean, come on. History, politics, and blind hope is on our side with this prediction. Frites! Mayo! King Albert II! It's a shoo-in, so bet all of your money on all of the Belgians and reap the rewards.
