Ones to watch

Chris Froome
CHRIS FROOME
The Froome-dog is the favorite, and while the absence of Bradley Wiggins may hurt the team in the TTT, it should make things less complicated. Can Froome rise to the top? And will on-form Richie Porte add a touch of bonus in-fighting?
Alberto Contador
ALBERTO CONTADOR
Contador has been slowly coming into form, but his Dauphine performance was riddled with excuses and second-bests. You can't write off a champion of this caliber, but he hasn't looked terribly convincing coming into this race.
Peter Sagan
PETER SAGAN
He's better than ever and headed to the Tour. Lock up your podium girls and get practising your victory salutes, because this guy will win stages, and maybe give Cav a headache in the green jersey competition.
Mark Cavendish
MARK CAVENDISH
He's so successful it's almost boring. He'll win five stages, put on the green jersey, and storm out of an interview. And that's just in the first week. Love him or loathe him, the kid is good for entertainment, and there's no denying he's as fast a sprinter as you're ever likely to see.
